Lanark Primary School and Early Learning & Childcare Parent Council proudly presents the return of the annual Scots Night!
We are holding our ‘Scots Night’ on Wednesday 12th February to showcase our learners’ achievements following our Scots language work in school.
The night also provides an opportunity for some of our musicians, singers and dancers to show off their talents.
If your child is taking part, you will hear by letter from the school but in the meantime, please find the details below:
LPS and ELC Main Hall
Doors open at 6.15pm
Entertainment starts at 6.30pm
Come along and join us for an evening of brilliant entertainment including Scottish poetry, songs, dancing and music from our talented pupils. Selected children from each class will present their poems for the chance to win the Mari Muir Award and the award for the best P7 Scots project will be announced.
• Like last year, there will be free entry for adults and children. To ensure safe numbers, tickets will be issued. Performers will be allocated their tickets as detailed in the letter that will be issued soon. Remaining tickets will become available soon (2 per family) - for those who would like to attend. More information to follow on App!
• Interval refreshments (tea, coffee, juice and biscuits) will be provided by the Parent Council. A donation towards Parent Council funds would be welcomed.
