As part of our Health and Wellbeing programme, we use Emotion Works across the ELC and School- a resource to support emotional wellbeing in our learners and staff. We include this as a standing item in our newsletters to share our focus each month.
This month we would like to draw your attention to the Green Cog. The Green Cog is the Behaviour Cog. This looks at what we do to show how we are feeling. What actions, facial expressions and movements do we use? Is this behaviour okay, and if not what could we do instead?
This cog is important as we need to ensure our children are expressing their emotions in healthy and safe ways.
Due to the hard work of Mrs Morton and Room 2's Emotion Works Pupil Leadership Team, we have now been awarded our Bronze Emotion Works Award to reflect our ongoing work- well done everyone!
