Christmas Party Day- This year, each class and ELC team will have their Christmas Party on the same day- Wednesday 9th December. Children can come to school/ELC in the morning dressed up in ‘party wear’ or ‘dressed down’- no football colours please. Activities will take place in classrooms/playroom throughout the day including Christmas crafts, class games, a Christmas movie and VIPs (Christmas crackers and yummy treats for everyone!)
Christmas Lunch- Lunch will be served in the canteen over two days- Wednesday 16th December and Thursday 17th December. A separate link will be issued with further details and we asked that an order form is completed for each of your children in the ELC/school. Points to note:
- P1-4 will have their Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 16th December, 2020
- ELC and P5-7 will have their Christmas Lunch on Thursday 17th December, 2020
- On the day that children are not having a Christmas Lunch, we ask that where possible, they bring a packed lunch. However on both days, a 'pack a snack' lunch can be ordered by anyone in school (fresh fruit, sandwich of choice, dessert, fresh water)
- ELC learners will be offered their 'usual' menu on Wednesday 16th December.
Online Pantomime -All ELC and school children will be timetabled to access our chosen ‘online’ pantomime from week beginning Monday 14th December (not all at once to ensure the best streaming quality). This has been financed by Lanark PS & ELC Parent Council and we thank them very much for continuing to financially support this annual ‘tradition’.
Christmas Concert- Our ELC learners will be working together to share a Christmas Concert for our whole school community (video to follow- all going well with the technology!)
Christmas Jumper Day- Tuesday 22nd December (last day with 2.30pm close)- Please remember if you have any old Christmas jumpers that may be of use to someone else, please feel free to hand these into the office- in plenty time please!
Christmas Cards- In order to follow best practice in infection control this year, we politely ask that Christmas cards are not sent into school for distribution amongst learners/staff.
