WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

Changes to SLC's Childcare Hub Model

As South Lanarkshire Council schools begin to plan for the phased return of staff and children back to school, all are are working to ensure buildings are ready for a return in August.

To enable staff to come into school in June to help with these preparations, SLC have made a change to the current model of emergency childcare hubs.

From Monday,June 8, LPS children whocurrently have a placeat one of the School Hubs will attend Lanark Primary School instead.

A childcare hub for key workers will still continue to run during Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June in the Lanark area during the Lanimer holiday. Parents and families will be notified of the times and venue soon for these days soon.

After the term finishes, the School Hub arrangements will come back into place from Monday, June 29, and will run throughout the summer.

Teachers and other school staff whose children attend an SLC school and who meet the Key Worker criteria (i.e.both parents keyworkers) will be able to apply for childcare in one of our hubs through the central admissions process.
