WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

Online Learning Update

Many thanks for all those who have accesses our new Google Classroom online learning. We hope you have been enjoying it but getting plenty sunshine too!

This has been very successful in allowing pupils to communicate with staff and other children, as well as complete and share work set. Remember though, use it when and as you need to!

The main stumbling block seems to be when there appears to be no access for a pupil to a particular piece of work. However, if it is in your child's classroom and they can see the attachment, they do already have access.

The problem is that some devices default to the first Google account user who logged on the Google Chrome Serach page (this could be your personal account of a sibling's). If the account being used in the Google Chrome Search bar does not match the account of the pupil trying to access the work, it will not open, regardless of their own Glow login being used.

We have created a very simple set of screenshots for you to look through if this is the case for you. You can find it here:

http://www.lanark-pri.s-lanark.sch.uk/images/Switching_google_accounts.pdf

Main message is - check the account that is logged on when you first open Google Chrome (it will show on the top right hand side of the screen) and change if necessary.
