WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

Coronavirus Update - 23rd March

Please see below for an update from South Lanarkshire Council:

As of Thursday 26th March we will move to a Hub model and will operate 20 hubs across four geographical areas in SLC.  Primary establishments have been selected for a variety of reasons. These are locality hubs rather than Learning Community hubs and each school is linked to a dedicated hub (please note your local Hub may not be your child's school).

Please note the following:

  • There will be a central application process for hubs managed by Education Resources. Eligibility criteria will be detailed in the application form.
  • This week is counted as a transition week with prime consideration given to children of emergency services and key workers such as NHS, Health and Social Care, Fire ,Police and Ambulance.
  • Application forms for Early Years and school aged children is now live.
  • The initial deadline for parental returns is 9am on Wed 25th March 2020. HQ will manage this process including notifying parents directly. Applications received thereafter will be allocated spaces on the basis of availability.
  • Hubs will be regarded as child care provision for key workers and will be managed and staffed by volunteers from within the localities

If you think that you may meet the criteria for an emergency place from Thursday onwards, please check and apply using the link to the application below:

We will be sending out an additional form later for application for emergency childcare at the school on Wednesday (please note the same criteria for today/tomorrow should be applied to Wednesday- if this changes, we will let you know).
