WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

Coronavirus Update - 20th March

I would like to express my gratitude for your support and understanding in what has been a very difficult time for us all. We are still hopeful that we will all be back together before the session ends. We realise how sad it has been for our P7s but we will make sure they still get the send off they deserve if we don't come back together.

We appreciate that things will be very difficult for many of you in the coming weeks and hope you understand that our staff will be asked to play an important role, initially in the support of Category 1 key workers and their families. We are also aware that there are many of you that play a vital role in the Health and Emergency Services as well as other key areas, so appreciate your understanding of SLC's current contigency plans for Monday and Tuesday. Any changes will be relayed to you via the app and website. Only when we know these ourselves, can we share them with you (please refrain from calling the school for updates).

As the school will be operating 9am-3pm, children who are in this category should enter via the front door with a parent/carer to confirm Category 1 status and sign children in. They can be picked up again at the main entrance at 3pm and signed out from there.

There will be no Breakfast Club provision at 8.15am but we can provide a light breakfast after 9am as required.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at LPS for their continued hard work and dedication at this challenging time. For however long this lasts, I will miss our learners every day and wish them a safe, healthy and happy time away (whilst home learning of course smiley).

Again, thank you to all our wonderful parents and carers for your continued support. Below you will find a link to our 'Useful Links' page, which includes the list of websites included in the pack, alongside other key information.
