On Thursday 21st November, the ELC and school took part in an Outdoor Learning Day, where all learning activities were outside. Our learners experienced loose parts play, cooking at the fire circle, tool use, the mud kitchen and outdoor PE games. Outdoor Learning develops self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem as well as collaborative-working and communication skills. It provides positive health benefits – both physically and mentally – and assists gross and fine-motor development. Our thanks go to Mrs Gracie and the Outdoor Pupil Leadership Team for all their hard work in planning the event.
