WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

Pre-school Transition Visits

Prior to starting school, it is important to bring our new Primary 1 children together to meet one another, meet staff and visit classrooms. For children in our ELC, these visits will take place during their daily session on the dates below. We are also welcoming a number of children from out with our ELC who can come to visit on any or all of the dates when suitable. We are happy to welcome you into the school.

Our pre-school transition visits this year will take place as follows:

Friday 11th May          9.30-10.30am and 1.00-2.00pm

Thursday 24th May     9.30am-10.30am and 1.00-2.00pm

Monday 4th June        9.30-10.30am and 1.00-2.00pm

On Friday 11th May all parents of our pre-school children are welcome to come along with their child to be part of this experience. Parents/carers can visit the P1 classrooms, meet up with other parents and children and talk to staff about 'starting big school' over a coffee. On Thursday 24th May and Monday 4th June children should attend by themselves.

Meet your Buddy and Try out Lunch

On Thursday 14th June at 11.00am, there will be an opportunity for parents to come along to a meeting to find out a little more about the school. During this time children will get a chance to meet their buddy and venture into the playground before joining parents back in the canteen for lunch.
