WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

PE and Outdoor Timetable

PE Days

It is expected that full school uniform is worn each day, however, in order to limit the time taken for changing, on PE days children should come in ‘school’ t-shirts/sweatshirts, black comfortable 'bottoms' like joggers or leggings with suitable shoes. We respectfully remind you that only school colours should be worn at all times unless for a pre-arranged purpose. We discourage the wearing of clothing with ‘large logos’ on them or sportswear that does not meet the uniform requirement.

Change of Shoes

A change of shoes can be brought in on days of inclement weather or for indoor PE, but these should be kept in your child's school bag.

Outdoor Learning

Outdoor Learning takes place each week as stated in the timetable (unless adverse weather conditions are forecast).  Outdoor Learning is a standard area of our curriculum and alongside teacher planned activities, the children have the opportunity to play in our woodlands each week too. This Outdoor Learning only requires children to have sensible shoes for the outdoors (e.g. no slip on shoes) and a sensible jacket (which is why we inform you of the specific day).If your child is going to take part in more focused, specific Outdoor Learning, your child's teacher will inform you of this, giving much notice, particularly if they require additional outdoor clothing eg. waterproofs/wellies if you have them. Please note, we also hold a stock of these items which will be available if required.
