World Book Day

Thursday 2nd March is World Book Day!

Your child should come home with a book token in their bag on this day. We will be working on Reading for Pleasure tasks throughout the school day.

Why not spend some time Reading for Pleasure at home, too? #WorldBookDay #ReadingSchools

We will also be offering the World Book Day themed menu:

Blue - Gruffalo fish goujons and wedges Book - The Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson

Red - Potter chicken poppers and savoury rice Book - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, J.K. Rowling

Green - Matilda meatballs and spaghetti Book - Matilda, Roald Dahl

Yellow (ve) - Blurb burrito (vegan mince burrito) and wedges All served with Gangsta Granny's selection of vegetables (peas and carrots) Book - Gangsta Granny, David Walliams

Dessert - Charlie and the Chocolate crispy cake Book - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl

Lanark Primary School operates between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

School begins 9.00am
Morning break 10.30 - 10.45am
Lunch break 12.15 - 1.00pm
School closes 3.00pm

Nursery Hours: 8.45 - 11.55am and 1.00 - 4.10pm
