WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

Equity- Reducing the ‘Cost of the School Day’

We know that those disadvantaged through poverty often struggle with living costs. This affects members from across our community. In order to support our children and you as parents/carers, we include the ‘Cost of the School Day’ as an item on each month’s newsletter. We will use this opportunity to share the range of support which is available to you.

This month, we would like to draw your attention to the 'Help Yourself Stand' that will be set up for P7s visiting Lockerbie Manor in May. If you have any 'outdoor clothing', including waterproofs, under-armour, zippies, boots and rain jackets that are in good condition that you could donate, please bring these to the collection point at the School Office. Please mark on the bag clearly that these are for the P7 Residential.

P7s will be issued with a list of clothing needs and a meeting will be arranged on our return (details to follow).

Many thanks for your continued support with our strive to 'reduce the cost of the school day'.
