Covid Update: Removal of Staggered Exit Times

As shared with you last week, 'Staggered Exits' can now be removed. This means that from Monday 28th February, all children will leave the school at 3pm.

This will mean changes to the gates used so please note that, P1-3 will leave via the current P1,2 & 5 Gate (‘Bottom’ Gate) and P4-7 will leave through the current P3-4 Gate (‘MUGA’ Gate). The ‘top’ gate should now only be used for children who stay at that side of the school.

ELC will still have a ‘Doors Open’ Policy- 8.50am and 2.40pm to help with school pick-ups/drop offs.

You will realise that this will make the path alongside Kildare Park very busy so please stand as far back as possible if you can. Please also ensure that you are parking safely on Rhyber Avenue and Stanmore Avenue at all times. This will be even more important as the number of vehicles trying to park at the same time will increase.

Good parking habits encourage good road safety habits in children. Please also switch of engines to avoid unnecessary emissions.
