Dear Parents/Carers,
Can we please remind you that as part of the guidance and procedures set out by NHS Lanarkshire, in conjunction with South Lanarkshire Council, if we are informed of a postive case (either staff or pupil), where the individual has been in close contact with anyone in the school, we are duty bound to inform you of this (including correspondence and advice from NHS Lanarkshire).
All procedures and guidance are followed at all times to ensure the safety and health of the whole Lanark Primary School and ELC Community.
We cannot comment on cases in other establishments and will always inform you if your child is identified as someone who needs to isolate. Fortunately, we have not had to issue any such advice to any staff or pupils so far, but we must remain vigilent to minimise any infections.
A thorough risk assessment (on the website) is followed and updated advice is always taken into consideration.
Can we also politely remind all parents and carers that any sharing of innaccurate information (or statements which are linked personally to staff or pupils) on social media will be reported as appropriate.
Regards,
Mrs Crook
