WELCOME TO LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL ONLINE

A Message from Lanark Universal Connections

Calling all Primary 7s

  • Do you want a safe place to hang out?
  • Do you want to spend time with friends?
  • Do you want to take part in positive activities?
  • Do you want to get involved in various programmes, to help you grow and develop?
  • Something to help ease the transition to high school?

Then why not come along to Lanark Universal Connections on Wednesday nights 6pm – 8pm. This is a group for Primary 7 only!  It is free to attend. We have a tuck shop that sells juice, sweets and crisps.

We offer a wide range of activities based on the want and need of the young people who attend. We have the young people involved from the beginning in the planning process.  We then gather all their ideas to make a programme of activities they have chosen.  Some ideas from the past are discos, slime making, trips to bowling, cinema and McDonald’s. Please note trips have a cost.

The young people also have a choice to take part in various award programmes such as Hi 5 and Dynamic youth awards.

In the centre, we have a wide variety of arts and crafts equipment, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo switch, Board Games, Computers, Pool Table and Free Wi-Fi!

Parents/Carers are more than welcome to come down, check out the place, and meet the staff. So what are you waiting for? Come on down and give the place a chance. You might be surprised! You might even like it!
