Our cross country training for P6 and P7 pupils will begin this week in preparation for attending the Clydesdale Cross Country Competition in March. Training will commence on Friday 10th January and will run every Tuesday and Friday.
Children should bring a change of clothes for both cross country training sessions, checking the weather and ensuring they are dressed come rain or shine! Children should bring trainers, shorts/leggings/tracksuit trousers, T-shirt, jumper and a waterproof jacket. They may also wish to bring hats, scarves and gloves dependent on weather.
Lanark Primary School are always very successful at the Clydesdale competition, largely due to the high numbers participating from our P6-7 classes. We would encourage all children to ‘give it a go’ as they improve massively over the course of the training, developing their fitness and confidence!
